What it is
HIFU for the tummy, arms, thighs and knees, using deeper settings than the face.
How it works
Ultrasound is focused into the deeper layers of skin and the connective tissue beneath. The heat tightens tissue immediately and triggers collagen renewal over the following months.
Focused ultrasound works in the highlighted layers.
Best for
- Loose skin after weight loss or pregnancy
- Crepey upper arms
- Above-knee skin
What it feels like
Deep heat pulses; some areas are more sensitive than others.
Downtime
Mild tenderness or redness for a few days.
When you’ll see results
Firmer skin over 8–12 weeks.
Before your visit
- Shave the area if needed
- No tanning for 2 weeks
Aftercare
- Moisturise and stay hydrated
- Maintain a stable weight for the best result
Who should not have this treatment
We’ll suggest an alternative, or ask you to check with your doctor first, if any of these apply:
- Pregnancy
- Metal implants in the area
- Pacemaker or electronic implants
- Open wounds or infection
If you have melanin-rich skin
This treatment uses heat or controlled injury to the skin, which can trigger dark patches in darker skin tones if it isn’t set up carefully. We assess your skin type, start with conservative settings and offer a patch test when there’s any doubt. Daily SPF afterwards protects your results.
This guide is general information. Your therapist confirms whether the treatment suits you after reviewing your health questionnaire at your first visit.
